Perfect for the Holidays - Coupon Site

Thursday, October 25th, 2007

It’s a cool site for anytime of year and one that you should check before you make any online purchases from large retail stores, but CouponChief.com is perfect for the Holidays. So many of the big retailers (Best Buy, Target, Adidas, Staples, Dell, etc.) put coupons on the site that it’s worth checking out. Some of the coupons, as you would expect, are more or less just attempts to get you to their site but even those ones still give you a better offer than if you had just gone to the merchants site yourself. And there are a lot of coupons which are only available online that turn out to be really good deals.

A couple of my favorite stores on CouponChief.com are Finish Line and Best Buy. Finish Line has a $15 off a $75 purchase which is a sweet deal and Best Buy has a pretty nice coupon for up to $300 off select flat screen HD tv’s, which I am in the market for.

Online shopping coupons are getting pretty popular because people love to feel like they are getting a deal and the retail stores can afford to give a little better deal with an online coupon because they aren’t paying an employee to sell it to you. So everybody gets a little satisfaction.

New SIRIUS Satellite Radio

Wednesday, October 24th, 2007

If you still haven’t tried out satellite radio then you need to get with it. If you’re a sports junkie like me then you can get it just for the exclusive coverage of the NBA, NFL, and NASCAR. If you’re just into the music then the huge variety of commercial free music is reason enough.

Price may have been a concern for people in the past but nice satellite stereos are becoming very inexpensive. You can pick up the new Stratus 4 which works with SIRIUS for around $50 and it will more than get the job done.

You can get a nice variety of Sirius Satellite Radio’s from SiriusSpecials.com.

Microsoft CEO Q&A

Wednesday, October 24th, 2007

Microsoft’s CEO Steve Balmer sat down with CNET news.com for a quick little Q&A session. The topic was mobile devices (phones) and some of the answers were quite funny. Several questions about the Iphone drew some answers that just seemed flat out painful for Balmer to try and answer honestly. The extent of his prop’s for the Iphone came just after he stated that the phone wasn’t perfect and said “But there is some stuff that they’ve done that’s quite nice.”

Most of the answer’s from the CEO seemed to be the usual from Microsoft. Big promises. Check out the entire Q&A at CNET news.com.
