Wearable Computer System

Rally Point has come out with a ‘Handwear Computer’ that is made specially for soldiers in the military. It is a wearable computer system that allows soldiers to view and navigate digital maps, activate radio communications, and send commands, all without ever having to take their hands off their weapons.

These custom made, sensor-laden gloves come with four push button sensors that are sewn into the fingers. Two of the sensors are used to activate radio communications, the third sensor will change the mode from ‘mouse mode’ to ‘map mode’, and the last sensor, can be used in two ways, in map mode it enables the user to zoom in and out, while in mouse mode it is the click button.
