iPhone 3G Launch Date

in: Phones

Recent news from Gizmodo states the new 3G iPhone will officially launch June 9th. Rumors about the iPhone 2.0 say that it will have a built in GPS, be able to hold up to 32G of memory, have web image save, and many more features.

If they’re planning on getting it launched by the second week in June, hopefully the FCC gets around to approving it by then. Apparently this hasn’t been done yet and it can’t go out on the market in the U.S. until this step is completed. It is said to be launching in Spain on June 18th, along with other European countries launching the product around the same date.

With this new launch, the 3G iPhone will not be available at a fixed price in some countries, and it will bring along with it some new sales policies, which have not yet been specified.
