Apparently Sony has been very dissatisfied with their recently low stats on the sales charts for 2008. But they have a plan of action to take. They are planning to slash prices on all of their 2008 models, starting in May. Their competitors are also going to join in on this price-war, to keep up with the new competitive prices.

They are skinning off $400 - $500 of the current prices. So if you’re planning on buying a new HDTV, you’re looking at saving about 20 - 25%  if you just wait a few more weeks.
