Microsoft makes bid for Yahoo
I don’t think the news that Microsoft is trying to acquire Yahoo comes as a huge surprise, I just think a lot of people expected Microsoft and Yahoo to make a move a while ago and when they didn’t, we kind of forgot about it.
Good news or bad news? I think it is great news for everyone, website owners and regular internet users alike. A lot of people seem to want Google to fail. That always happens when someone emerges as a dominant source. But you have to give Google it’s credit. They have created a superior product. However, it would be nice to have another in the industry challenge them to keep them honest. All in all, it would be best for everyone because if Microsoft doesn’t acquire Yahoo, then Yahoo will slowly fade into oblivion.
